About HORSE SENSEI
HORSE SENSEI aims to turn the notion of the Horse Whisperer around and reveal that horses are human whisperers, able to teach us much about ourselves if we are willing to listen and look deeply at what the horse relects back to us about our being and beingness.
Weaving together threads from the Natural Horsemanship icons, contemporary literature of the American West regarding the horse-human relationship, the flesh ontology of French philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty, mysticism, the Asian religious traditions and her own experience, one horse crazy girl sheds light on other ways of knowing the horse and ourselves, being with the horse and our own beingness, and slowly blurring the boundary of horse and human - self and other - by tuning into the ancient language of the horse.
